Auto Technician

This is the simplest position to understand. The technician knows how to diagnose problems, communicate his findings, fix the problems and do so on schedule. We require technicians to bring one other thing: a good attitude. Premadonnas need not apply. No one is too good to change oil, fix a tire or install wiper blades at Keever Brothers. After all, customers write everyone’s paycheck and if an oil change is what they need, they will receive it with excellence. This is not to say skilled technicians are not appreciated. Diagnostics, vehicle inspections, washing windows and vacuuming floors are all paid work at Keever Brothers. Fair must go both ways. Technicians also need to own a good set of basic hand tools. Tablets are used in the work bay to view repair orders, perform digital vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors and customers so a willingness to use technology is required.

General Service Technician

This is our entry level position for someone who wants to work in the shop. If you have no automotive or mechanical experience whatsoever, that's ok! If you are willing to learn, we can teach you. We have a clearly defined training and competency program designed for this position that will allow you to watch your skills grow and move toward working on cars full time if that's what you would like to do. If not, you will see the value you are bringing to the team and our customers through your excellent work. This position is responsible for performing quality control activities after repairs, service cleaning of vehicles, facility maintenance and assisting technicians as needed.

Fast Lane Technician

A Fast Lane technician needs to be an energetic individual that takes pride in their work and understands that all great careers have a beginning. Mechanical aptitude is required but a large amount of technical knowledge is not. We have developed systems that allow a new technician to accurately and efficiently perform their duties while maintaining a very high level of quality and speed of service. Tablets are used in the bay to move through the service process in a step-by-step way that creates good routines and habits. These are the foundation stones of every great technician. There is no better place to build technical skill and knowledge than the Fast Lane. This is a great position if you are just getting into the business or enjoy working with your hands but don’t have a taste for computer-controlled vehicle service.
